How much is available?

  • The maximum grant award is $1,000.

Grant Deadlines:

  • January 31 – for consideration in Round 1, February
  • July 31 – for consideration in Round 2, August

Who is eligible?

  • 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations and organizations using a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor.  The application for funding must be submitted by an officer of the 501(c)(3) requesting the funds.
  • Organizations serving residents in the City of Auburn
  • Organizations that have not received a community grant from the Auburn Rotary Community Foundation in the past 12 months
  • Organizations that have submitted a final report for any completed program previously funded by the Foundation

What types of projects are funded?

  • Grant requests must be for a specific specific project or activity.
  • Projects not supported:

                        General operations
                        Capital projects
                        Endowments
                        Development funds
                        Foundations for their general funds
                        Fundraising events
 

Application Process:

  1. Complete the application by the deadline.
     
  2. You will receive confirmation that we’ve received your request within a week of submission.
  3. Notice of Award
  4. Requirements of accepting award:

                      a. Acknowledgement of Rotary’s participation must conform to Auburn Rotary guidelines outlined in your award letter.
                      b. Present a final report of the project at a Rotary Club meeting within two months of project completion.
